Summary: You are a 21st century girl who gets hit by a car and ends up in the 17th century. What happens when you find out that you have something everyone wants? Captain Jack Sparrow will do anything to get it and Commodore James Norrington will do anything to win your heart. And what does a pretty bracelet have to do with anything? * * * * * CHAPTER 1 – Lost You were walking home with your friends from school and you were so tired. Today you have math, reading, writing homework to do. Your friends saw Pirates of the Caribbean last night and you started gabbing about the movie. Like “I know you stared at Johnny’s butt again Kara,” you said. “I did not I hate Johnny I told you he’s the ugliest person who ever walked the earth.” then you and your friends gasped in horror. Kara isn’t a Depp fan at all but you always tease her. “How could you hate Johnny Depp? He is like the sexiest person alive,” said Kat one of your other friends. Your friend, Emma is an Orlando Bloom freak and she hates Kate Bosworth. “Look you guys I got to go I have tons of school work to do,” you said. “Ok bye (you),” they said at the same time. You guys parted and went separate blocks you were crossing the street. For some reason your eyes were getting all blurry and you couldn’t see well. You started walking on the street when you heard a car and then you just blacked out. The car hit you and you fell flat on the ground. “Miss, Miss? Are you all right?” “W-what?” you were still pretty out of it. Your head was killing you and you couldn’t see well. You moaned in pain. “Good your all right here let me help,” he said. “Where am I?” you asked, as you looked around. “You’re in Port Royal miss,” he said. You got up, you were still dizzy. “No-no I mean what about the car a-and the voices………” “Miss you must be dizzy here I’ll take you back to my place.” “NO I n-need to get home,” then you fainted again. Dream: “Hello? Hello?” you kept calling no one answered. “Hello.” “Where am I?” you asked. “You’re at the hospital miss but you’ll be fine,” said the lady. “What but I thought I was at Port Royal,” you said. “Port Royal?” “Yeah there was this guy and this place and- where’s my father?” You see your father is very sick and your mother died, and you stay home and take care of him. You feel like crap right now and you really want to puke. You try to get up but you faint again. End of dream Back at Port Royal you woke up to the sound of the birds. You looked around and sat up in bed. “Oh good your alright Will found you at the beach and brought you home,” said Elizabeth. “What year is it?” you asked. “1711, why?” asked Elizabeth. “Oh my god. You’re Kiera Knightly,” you said. “I don’t know what you’re talking about miss I’m Elizabeth Turner,” she said. “Oh please don’t call me miss,” you groaned. “Here have some water,” said Elizabeth as she gave a glass of water. “You’re very kind,” you said. You were a shy person and you had a temper if someone insulted you, you told them off. “I’m going to tell Will you’re well,” said Elizabeth. * * * * * CHAPTER 2 – Elizabeth Turner? Elizabeth was silent and then she sighed. “I don’t know how you got here Will found you on the beach,” said Elizabeth. “No sorry I snapped I’m really confused I’m not from here,” You said as you got out of bed. “Well you should get dressed we’re having dinner with my father,” said Elizabeth. “I don’t have to wear a corset do I?” you asked. “Oh but you must every girl wears them here.” “I doubt that,” you mumbled under your breath. “What was that?” “Uh, nothing. I guess I’ll wear a corset. But why do you have to wear one anyway your already skinny.” “Thank you but if I don’t wear one then I won’t look proper.” ‘Hmm, she looks different then in the movie,' you thought. “How old are you?” you asked. “Oh, I’m 19 why?” “No reason.” “Maids, would you help miss?” “Silver (You) Silver.” “That’s a strange name,” said Elizabeth, as she out the door. She slammed it and it made you jump a little. “Well so is Swann,” you said to yourself. * * * * * CHAPTER 3 – The Bracelet You got dressed and went downstairs but then you heard Will and Elizabeth talking you quickly hid behind the wall of the kitchen to listen in. You stiffened so you wouldn’t make a sound. And you looked around the house. It was so big and beautiful you looked at the living room you were in and you saw a doll on the shelf you shuttered as you saw it. Dolls freak you out. “No Will, Jack can’t come here,” said Elizabeth you could tell she was shocked as Will asked Jack to stay. “Why not? He needs a place to stay! And besides you won’t be here for the rest of the week right? You’ll be going to England,” yelled Will. Why is Elizabeth going to England? You shook your head and decided to interrupt their arguing. You slowly walked to the kitchen and coughed. “Oh (You) hi, wow you look stunning,” said Elizabeth. “Thanks Liz, I’m not sure red is my color though,” you brushed off some dust that was on the dressed and sighed. “Do you know how I got here?” “Well, uh, no I’m afraid I don’t-" Will looked at your wrist and saw a bracelet it was a golden charm bracelet with skulls and cross bones your father got it for you at Disney Land before he got sick. He knew you liked pirates so he picked that one out for you. “W-where did you get that?” asked Will. You looked at your wrist and saw a bracelet you forgot you had that thing on. You carefully examined it. It wasn’t real gold or so you thought it wasn’t real gold. “Oh this? My father got it for me at Disney Land,” you said, smiling. “Oh my god is it real gold? It’s beautiful,” said Elizabeth as she softly grabbed your wrist and looked at it. “No it’s not real gold, but it’s very precious to me,” you sighed. “I could’ve sworn I saw that bracelet before can you take it off?” asked Will. You looked, wearily at him and nodded. You looked for the key that takes the bracelet off but couldn’t find it. “Oh no I can’t find the key I left it at home, I can’t see the lock on my bracelet it’s like it just disappeared,” you panic. “I’m sure it’s here somewhere,” said Elizabeth. Will went over to you and tried to ship off some gold of the bracelet but it wouldn’t come off. “And it’s not fake gold, it’s real, the gold won’t come off,” said Will. “But that’s impossible it was fake gold when I got it. When I took a shower with it some gold came off,” you tried to look for the metal part of the bracelet but again that was gone too. “This is insane,” you said. “It may be insane, but that’s real gold. We’re going to have to look for the key later,” said Will as he ran his hands through his hair. “But I can’t take it off without that key,” you said. Then all of a sudden you heard a knock on the door. “Oh that’s James and my father,” said Elizabeth, sweetly you sighed and decided to forget about the key for a while and have some fun. Elizabeth opened the door. Norrington stepped in and smiled. “Elizabeth it’s nice to see you,” you smiled. Norrington looks quite handsome then in the movie. You never really looked at him long enough to notice. “James it’s nice to see you where’s my father?” asked Elizabeth as she looked out side. “Oh, he’s running late, he’ll be here shortly,” said James. His eyes went wide as he saw you. ‘Who is that vision of beauty?’ he thought to himself. “James this is my friend (you) she just came here from England,” said Elizabeth. You smiled as she lied thank god she didn’t tell him Will just found on the beach like you appeared out of know where. “It’s nice to meet you milady,” said James he softly took you hand kissed it. You blushed and at this James smiled with delight. “It’s nice to meet you too James I’ve heard so much about you,” you said. “Well should we sit down father should be here any minute,” said Elizabeth. As she lead you to the table Norrington motioned for to sit next to him. Again you smiled and nodded. This was going to be very interesting living here. * * * * * CHAPTER 4 – Norrington You were enjoying yourself as you were deep in conversation with James. He made you laugh a couple of times. That was kind of weird he made you laugh; you always thought he was too serious and he needed to get a life. James then saw your bracelet quickly grabbed your wrist. “Where did you get this?” he asked. Oh crap, you’re busted. Elizabeth and Will looked up from their food and looked at each other then they looked at you. “Oh… um, my-my father gave it to me, it’s no big deal it’s not even real,” you said. You bit your lip until it turned a bright red. Your heart was beating fast. “But it has skulls and crossbones, you're not a pirate are you, miss?” he tried to remember your last name and your sighed. “Miss Key, and no, I’m not a pirate my father just gave me this bracelet. Now please let go of my wrist, your hurting me,” James then quickly let go of your wrist and he just left. You watched him leave and you just crossed your arms. “Excuse me about Commodore Norrington he’s just a little stressed today. I’m going to go talk to him,” said Governor Swann. “Yes please do,” said Elizabeth her just glared at her and she went back to eating. Governor Swann got up and went out side. “Follow me,” you said. Elizabeth just looked wearily at you and nodded. You, Will and Elizabeth put your ear to the front door and listened to Governor Swann and James. “What was that all about Norrington?” asked Governor Swann. “That girl is hiding something, I know it,” said James. “What do you mean, you just met her?” said Governor Swann. You bit your lip again and you sighed. “She’s not from around here, I can sense it. Everyone wants that bracelet and they have been searching for it, but no one was able to find it. And she has it, the key to treasure of The Blue Mask.” You gasp and you run to your room with Elizabeth following you. “(You) what’s wrong?” asked Elizabeth. “Didn’t you hear them Elizabeth? I’m the key to the Blue Mask Treasure. Everyone is after me. I’m so scared, I want to go home, my father needs me,” a sob escaped your throat and you felt a pat on your back. “It’s alright we’ll figure out something. Where are you from?” asked Elizabeth. You wiped you tears away sat on your bed. “You wouldn’t believe me,” you said. “Try me.” “Well… I’m from the future.” * * * * * Author's Note: Hey guys your probably thinking “What?!?!? Where’s Jack!?!?!? No Jack? You so evil!!!” Don’t worry Jack is coming in the 6th or 5th chapter. Just thought I would try something new. I know I’m evil. * * * * * CHAPTER 5 – The Start Of Something More All Elizabeth did was smile. You had a confused look on your face as she smiled. “Aren’t you going to freak out?” you asked. She shook her head. “I know all about it really. Look at your bracelet,” said Elizabeth. You looked at your bracelet and all of a sudden it was glowing. “How is this possible?” you asked. “Well you see every time it glows it’s calling pirates all over the seas to come and get it and they get hypnotized by it,” explained Elizabeth. You gasped and tried to take it off. “I hate this bracelet, why me? What do you want from me?” you screamed. You flopped on Elizabeth’s bed and started sobbing. “How did you know about this?” you sobbed. “My father told me about the legend I just never thought it was real,” she admitted. “Oh,” you sniffed. Elizabeth went over to you and rubbed your back. “I’m sure everything will be fine,” soothed Elizabeth. You thought Elizabeth was nice. The friends you have back in the 21st century aren’t really close to you. You and Elizabeth heard a knock on the door and Elizabeth opened it. “Oh hello James is everything ok?” asked Elizabeth. James saw you crying on the bed and he frowned. “I was going to ask you the same,” whispered James. “I’m fine Norrington don’t worry about me,” you said, as you wiped your tears away. You’re now happy all of a sudden knowing James was in the room. For some odd reason he made you feel happy when you two presented each other. “Would you like to go for a walk Miss Key? I’m sure that’ll make you feel better,” suggested James. “I would love to.” Elizabeth smiled as James held his arm out for you to take. You gracefully took it and went out the door. Elizabeth sighed, thinking she wanted to see Will. You and James walked in the garden and you two sat on a bench. “Now tell me what’s wrong…” James said. You smiled. You thought James was the sweetest guy you’ve ever met. “Oh uh, well I was thinking about my father,” you lied. You hate to lie to James but it was for your own safety. Even though James wasn’t a pirate he was after the treasure too. “What happened to him?” “Well he’s very ill the doctors have tried everything they could do. But now all they could say ‘Oh he’s in god’s hands now’ I hate it when they say that!” you shrieked in frustration. You were now upset about your father. He has to take these pills in order for him to live. But when you’re not around he doesn’t take his pills you always have to tell to because, being his stubborn self he thinks he doesn’t need them. “I’m very sorry. Let’s just hope that he lives my parents were also ill and they both died,” James said, miserably. “Oh James, I’m so sorry!” you gasped. “Well let’s not be upset over it now. Oh by the way, I’m having a get together for Elizabeth and William they are going away and I would like you to come.” “I’d love to come James thank you so much. At least I have something to do around here now,” you said. You unexpectedly hugged him and he was taken aback by your actions but he slowly hugged you back. ‘Her scent is the smell of lemon,’ he thought. Was he falling in love with this woman? But he just met her yester day. “James you have to let go,” you laughed. Not wanting to let go he did and he took a scoot back. “Pardon me Miss Key I was too forward.” “No, no it’s ok really,” you smiled. James stood up and took a quick bow. “Until Monday then at 6:00 PM?” asked James. You nodded and stood up. James left and you just stood there. “He is handsome.” Somewhere out in the sea… Captain Jack Sparrow stood at the helm of the Black Pearl and smirked. He looked at the horizon and started singing A Pirates Life For Me. “I’m a devil and black sheep and really bad eggs drink up me hearties yo ho…I’m coming after tha’ bracelet.” “Jack!!! I have a bone ta pick with ye!” yelled Anna, behind him. He squinted at the sound of her voice. “What is it this time Anna?” asked Jack, irritated. Anna went in front of Jack and before he could even blink. (Whack) His face jerked to the other side after Anna smacked him. “What the bloody heck was that fer Anna?” yelled Jack with rage. “Ye promised me a ship Jack and ye still didn’t keep yer promise!” yelled Anna. “Anna, luv I’ll get ye a ship after I get his bracelet we’re after and I swear on a pain of death I’ll get the treasure and then ye can have a ship anyone ye like…uh except the Pearl of course…” “Well ye better get the treasure fer yer sake.” “Anna the bracelet calls and I know exactly where she’s calling…Port Royal.” “But Jack you’re a wanted man in Port Royal ye can’t go there.” “Do ye want yer ship or not?” “Yes.” “Ok then we’re going to Port Royal.” “Fine ye know yer daft right Jack?” “Of course I do I consider that a compliment!” cheered Jack. Anna just chuckled and walked into the galley to get some food. She grabbed an apple and heard something strange like a calling of some sort. It was like she was hypnotized. “Jack’s right the bracelet does call,” whispered Anna. Back in Port Royal… You saw the bracelet glow again and screamed in frustration and tried to get it off again. “Stop I don’t want this!!!” you yelled. ‘More pirates will want this if this doesn’t stop glowing, before you know it I might get kidnapped because of this god bloody thing!’ you thought. Now you wish you never begged for this bracelet that day at Disney Land. It was just that you used to be obsessed with pirates and you wanted to be one. A long time ago when you were little you would always pretend you were in Neverland fighting the pirates off. “What’s happening?” |
