CHAPTER 11

It was now the next morning, and Jack walks merrily back to Will’s house. He knocks on the door a few times, and grins at Elizabeth.

“’Ello, Darling! Where’s yer husband at?”

“Still in bed I’m afraid,” she replies with a smile.

“Ah, don’t bother to wake the whelp up, I’ll do it meself.” he gives her a wicked, sadistic smile and makes his way quietly upstairs, snickering madly to himself.

“Will?” he says quietly, opening the door. The only response he receives is soft snoring from the lump on the bed.

Jack stands there, watching his friend sleep. If he is going to wake the poor lad up, he might as well be creative about it. He jumps on the bed repeatedly, his beads flying everywhere after each jump.

“WILL!!! WAKE UP!!!” more jumping ensues, and Will’s eyes finally opened, and when he sees Jack, he screams and falls off the bed. Jack shrugs and smirks evilly, still jumping.

“Mornin’ mate! Thought I’d give ya a nice wakeup call.”

“I hate you,” mumbles Will under the pillow. Jack grins.

“A good morning to you too! Now come on, I’ve got an idea!” Jack smiles and cackles merrily, shaking his two bottles of rum.

“Really now?” Will holds back his snicker. Jack was er... more drunk than usual.

“Mate, I am sooooo drunk! But thas a good thing. I only get this drunk when I’m happy!”

“So you’re happy?”

“You bet mate! CAUSE I’M GETTIN’ MY GIRL BACK!”

“Well... you came all this way to tell me?”

“AYE! I wanted to shove it in yer face that I came up with a plan before ye!! Anyways, wanna hear the plan?” Will looks at his pillow, then back at Jack.

“Sure.”

“All right, now on the day of the wedding, I’m going to interrupt it, take me girl, kill Tom-” Jack stops, seeing Will’s glare, “uh... well, tell em’ off fer takin’ me woman, and then I marry her and we ride off into the sunset. How does that sound?”

“Well, you might have a little trouble in the wedding ceremony.”

“You forget, Will. I’m Captain Jack Sparrow! I’m practically immortal.”

“Well then, in case anything unusual happens, I’ll be there to help you.”

“Really?”

“Yes. You need help with anything, you ask. You’re my best friend, Jack!” Jack wipes away an invisible tear, drunkenly hugging him.

“Thanks, mate! Actually, I do need yer help.”

“Okay, what is it?”

“Well... I did alot o’ thinkin’... and this is what I got.” Jack pulls out a small box and Will opens it, his eyes wide.

“Jack, you got a WEDDING RING?” Jack beams with pride, puffing out his chest.

“Aye, I did. And I didn’t even steal it! Bought it with me own money.”

“Money that you stole from people?”

“Long story how I got some money, mate. Rather not get into it. It was a long time ago.” Will quirks an eyebrow.

“All right. Now what is it that you need help with?”

“What do I say to her when I give her the ring?”

“Jack, women love you! I thought you already knew what to say!”

“Well, I know how to get women in tha sack, but not to marry me.”

“Well, just tell her how much you love her, and that you’d do anything for her. Speak from your heart.”

“Wow, Will, that was good!”

“Thanks.”

“Well... how about ye pretend to be her! And I’ll practice what I say!”

“Uh... all right.” Jack clears his throat, revealing his multi-colored teeth.

“Listen, Luv. I love ye with all me heart. Ye mean the world to me, and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do fer ya. Ye’ve changed me somehow... and I don’t ever wanna lose ye again...” Jack gets on one knee for better effect, holding the ring.

“Will ye marry me?”

Suddenly, the door opens, and there stands Elizabeth, seeing Jack on one knee and Will on the foot of the bed.

“I’m not even going to ask,” she mumbles, closing the door and leaving a blushing Will and a snickering Jack.

“C’mon now, Will, admit it. Ye have feelins for me.”

“Shut up, Jack.”

“It’s okay! I know how desireable I am! Everyone loves me! Who could resist me charm?”

“Don’t make me hurt you.”

* * * *

You rub your new bruise on your arm painfully, watching Tom’s back disappear as he leaves your house.

“Scum is all he is!” you scream irritably, and hope that Jack would come to your rescue soon. You sniff and tears start to fall as you start to realize that Jack may not be coming at all.

* * * *

As Jack gets up from the ground, his eyes widen in anger.

“THERE HE IS!” screams Jack, racing near the window to get a better look at Tom. Will looks flabbergasted, as he has never seen Jack so upset. He was usually very easygoing...

“Tha bastard, wait till I get my hands on him. I don’t like him, somethin’ off about em’. I swear on the wedding day I’ll wring his little-”

“Now, now, Jack! Relax, we’ve got another few days to sort this out. Wait till the wedding day!”

“Aye, I guess yer right.” he sighs and looks away, and then glances at Will.

“Wanna get drunk?”

* * * *

You glare as you hear Tom coming back upstairs. The man was probably coming back for a second round of beatings.

“Well, my Beloved, I bring good news!”

“And what’s that?” you snarl.

“We’re getting married in three days! I just can’t stand to wait for another two weeks!”

You feel your blood get cold and your eyes widen.

All hope of Jack saving you was gone.

* * * * *

CHAPTER 12

You glare as you hear Tom coming back upstairs. The man was probably coming back for a second round of beatings.

“Well, my Beloved, I bring good news!”

“And what’s that?” you snarl.

“We’re getting married in three days! I just can’t stand to wait for another two weeks!”

You feel your bold get cold and your eyes widen.

All hope of Jack saving you was gone.

* * * *

Will rolls his eyes at Jack’s last question.

“You don’t remember last time when I drank?”

“Ahhh, but it was funny as hell!” Jack hiccups and takes a sip of his drink.

“Well, we have two more weeks till anything goes down. What do we do in the meantime? You obviously have your plan well thought out...” Will glances at Jack, who’s snickering at the bedside table.

“....Right Jack?”

“Uh huh...”

“Jack...”

“Mmmmhmmm?”

“You didn’t hear my last sentence did you?”

“Not a bloody word.”

* * * *

The next day...

You are sitting with Elizabeth in Tom’s garden, and Elizabeth smiles softly. She asked you earlier if she could come over, and you reluctantly let her come. You didn’t want her to see you... not like this... with Tom... but then again, what choice did you have?

“How have you been?”

“Oh, very good,” you lie.

“You must be excited about the wedding!”

“Very much.” Elizabeth watches the servant nearby leave, and she looks very grim.

“I know you don’t want to get married.”

“Eli-”

“No, don’t lie.” she looks at your arm and you switch positions in your chair uncomfortably.

“Has he hurt you?” she whispered angrily.

“No!” you hiss. She glares and grabs your arm, and you scream, covering your mouth.

“I thought so... oh you poor thing!” she says, hugging you, “I’m sorry!”

“It’s all right!”

“No, it’s not. We’re going to save you.”

“How, Elizabeth?! Jack’s not here! And I’m getting married in three days!”

“Three days?”

“Yes!”

“Don’t worry, Jack’s here. We’ll figure everything out.”

“What? Where?”

“At our house. He’s planning something. He’s going to save you.” Elizabeth stops speaking as she sees Tom come closer, and smiles at you.

“Well, you two make such a wonderful couple!” Tom grins and places his hand on your bruised shoulder.

“Yes we do, don’t we?” you hide your pain as he squeezes your shoulder and force a smile.

“I couldn’t have found anyone better.”

* * * *

Elizabeth slams the door as she comes back to her house, obviously very angry.

“What is it, my love?” asks Will, with Jack behind him imitating his pansy posture.

“Yes dear, what is wrong?”

“Jack, stop imitating me! I don’t stand like that!”

“Yes ye d-”

“She’s being abused!” screams Elizabeth. Jack stops making fun of Will and glares.

“He’s hittin’ her?”

“Yes! Oh, I knew he was off, ever since his two brothers died he’s been a mess!”

“I’m takin’ her away from that place! Now!”

“No, Jack. She’s getting married in three days. We’ll do it at the wedding just like you planned! If we take her from the house we’ll be outnumbered if they see us.”

“She’s right,” says Will. Jack is obviously upset about waiting, but nods.

“Aye, we shall wait.”

“Not for too long you won’t.”

“And why’s that, Luv?”

“She’s getting married in THREE days, not two weeks.”

“Bloody ‘ell!”

“So we have three days to think of a plan....” Will mumbles.

“Yes. So let’s go in the living room and think of a plan!”

“And get drunk!” adds Jack, swaying to the living room. Will and Elizabeth glare at him.

“Oh fine, let’s stay sober. Not as fun though.”

* * * *

Three days later....

It was now the wedding day, and you have to admit, the scene is beautiful. White roses surround the area, and you’re in the most beautiful chapel. You can’t believe the expensive china that’s on the tables nearby, as well as the decorations.

Your dress is an exquisite ivory white color, and the material is silk. Your dress is somewhat simple, yet elegant, with small beads sewn on it to form roses. You tap your foot nervously, as you see no Jack around.

Oh he better be here, or God help him!!! You’ll kill him!

And so, as to help pass the time, you start to think of all the way you can torture him. But before you can get up to five, your father makes his way over to you.

“Hello, my lovely daughter! I just wanted to know if you’re happy, because you mean the world to me... your happiness is all that matters.” you glance at Tom, who makes a motion with his hand to tell you that if you say anything, you’re in big trouble.

“Yes, father,” you whisper, tears in your eyes, “I’m happy.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, the wedding will begin in fifteen minutes!” announces a servant.

Congratulations! Your life is now over!

* * * *

“Bloody suit,” Jack mumbles, rubbing his collar. In order for him to blend more with the other people, Will let him use one of his suits.

“Stop playing with it!” scolds Will, walking near the wedding area.

“Easy fer ye to say! Ye always dress like this!”

“Jack, do me a favor and be quiet.” Jack’s about to say a smart comment until he sees all the silverware.

“Lookit this! Pure silver! I can get good money fer this!”

“Jack! That’s wrong!”

“It’s Tom’s silverware....” says Jack, waving his arms around.

“Elizabeth always wanted some of those, grab a few for her,” Will says quickly, looking around so no one can see them stealing. Since it was TOM’s, they can make an exception.

“Will! I think yer gettin’ a bad streak in ya!” Will just grins, sticking a spoon in his pocket.

“All right, I better stop or I’ll miss makin’ my grand entrance. Ye stay back here, in case anythin’ happens.”

“Yes, yes, you have to trust me Jack. I can do this,” scowls Will.

“I do trust ya mate. I trust ya with me life.” Will’s eyes widen, but he hides his surprise.

“Well, go on then...” he ushers, and Jack smiles.

“See ya soon!”

* * * *

As you look into Tom’s eyes you try very hard not to spit at him. He just smiles, kissing your hand.

“Are you ready, my Beloved?”

“I hope you rot in hell.”

“I love you too, darling.”

* * * *

Jack is sitting in a chair, watching the ceremony with utmost disgust.

“Bloody moron.” Soon he would stand up and take you away from him! But the time has to be right, precise.

“Soon,” he whispers, an evil smile tugging at his lips. An old couple was sitting next to him, watching him with wide eyes, wondering why he was muttering to himself. He flashes his gold teeth, and they look away awkwardly. Jack just snickers and watches the wedding with only mild interest.

* * * *

Will was standing near the front entrance, having a clear view of everything. This was a good spot to be, considering if anything happened, which most likely will. And as he was watching people enter, a man taps his shoulder.

“Yes?”

“What is your name?”

“Will Turner... why?” the man glances at a parchment in his hand, and glares at Will.

“You’re not on the list.”

Will eyes him for a moment, thinking of what he should do. Should he tell him the truth? No, that wouldn’t work. Oh shit. He’s in trouble.

Will growls and punches the man in the face, then gives him a swift kick in the stomach. The man gasps in pain and Will sends him down a flight of steps in front of the chapel. People nearby gasp and he puts on his best evil look, waving the parchment around.

“He wasn’t on the LIST.” people near him start to shout frantically, reciting their names and declaring they were on the list.

“Marissa Thompson! Check I’m there!!”

“Yes, Bruce Millings!”

“I’m on the list!”

“Me too!”

“Please don’t hurt us!” Will’s eyes widen, and he glances at the people around him. He hides a smirk and he pretends to check people’s names, but looks astonished as he sees the names on the list.

“HEY! Elizabeth is on the list but not me! Grrr....”

* * * *

“And if anyone should think these two should not marry, speak now or forever hold your peace.”

“Aye, I have a problem!” says a voice in the sea of people. Some gasp, while others watch in amusement.

You smile gleefully, and let go of Tom’s hand.

“JACK!”

“Why so glum, Luv? Thinkin’ I wouldn’t show?”

“Of course not,” you say, grinning.

“Who is this?!” screams Tom, glaring at Jack.

“That is the man I’m in love with!” you shout, backing away.

“HIM? But he’s... he’s...”

“He’s a what?” shouts Jack.

“He’s below us, Darling! That man there is nothing!”

“YOU’RE NOTHING. Jack’s EVERYTHING! He’s more of a man than you’ll ever BE!” you scream, and Jack smiles, smoothing out imaginary wrinkles in his shirt.

“You don’t mean that!”

“I DO!”

“Fine then... Jake...”

“It’s JACK, ye bleedin’ moron.”

“Well, JACK, it looks like we’re in a predicament. We’ll have to duel for her love!” Tom takes out his sword, and points it at Jack.

“Unless, you’re not up to the challenge.”

“Aye, I’m always up fer a challenge.” Jack takes his sword out also. You put your hands on your face, not daring to look. This was bad. Tom was excellent in sword fighting, but then again, so was Jack.

“Be careful, Jack!” Jack just nods and takes out his sword, ready to battle.

* * * *

Will glances towards Jack and Tom, his eyes wide.

“Oh no,” he whispers.

* * * *

And so the battle began, their swords clanging together as they went, kicking random chairs out of their way, not daring to make one mistake. Every move was crucial, for if one mistake was made, they would lose. They both are very good when it comes to sword fighting, and Jack knows this is the most important battle of his life, of YOUR life.

“Since we’re already fightin’ what’s the rules?”

“There are none!”

“Good!” says Jack, his sword narrowly missing Tom’s head, and they start to duel again.

“Not good, not good,” you mumble.

* * * *

Will watches everyone around him, wondering what’s going to happen next. He sees a few men coming towards you, and he breaks out into a mad dash. The men are going to distract Jack by taking you, therefore giving Tom an opportunity to take advantage of Jack and kill him.

He can’t call to Jack because he might hurt him in the process, so Will tries to go after the men on his own.

“Why does the aisle have to be so long!” he cries, ignoring the weird looks that were given to him.

* * * *

“I’m afraid you will not be taking her home, Jack.”

“I wouldn’t count on that. She’s comin’ with me!”

They were still dueling, and you still were putting your hands over your face.

“Oh no oh no oh no....” suddenly you place your hands down and see Will coming towards you, and two men from behind. As they grab your arm they pull on your hair, and you scream in pain.

Jack looks at you as he hears your cries, but then his eyes widen as Tom gets ready for the blow.

“NOOO!!!” screams Will, trying to jump in front of Tom, but it was too late. Jack moves as he hears Will’s screams, but Tom does not miss, the sword piercing through the skin.

“JACK!!” you scream, seeing him gasp and drop to the floor, a pool of blood starting to form. He falls to his knees, blood flowing out of his mouth, his eyes now staring at you emotionlessly.

* * * * *

CHAPTER 13

As you see Jack fall to the ground, tears spring to your eyes.

“NO!!!” you scream, and glare at Tom.

“You!!!” you grab Jack’s sword and were about to attack Tom, but Will beat you to it.

“I’LL KILL YOU!!” screams Will, grabbing Tom and slamming his fist into his face, then backhanding him to the ground.

“It’s the man with the list!” one whispers.

“If Jack dies, you do too! I don’t care what happens to me!” Will growls, his eyes blazing with anger. Tom tries to throw a punch, but Will easily blocks it. Blood is spilling out of Tom’s nose and mouth, but Will doesn’t stop.

“What is THIS?!” screams your father, rushing to Tom’s side. You sob, grabbing Jack’s limp body.

“Jack?” you whisper, “c-can you hear me?” His eyes open slowly, and he smiles at you.

“I need a drink.” you laugh sadly, stroking his face.

“We need to get you out of here.”

“I-I...”

“Shh, Jack. Don’t talk. Save your energy.”

“N-N-No... I... love you.” you start to cry softly as he closes his eyes.

“I love you too, Jack. Always... forever.” he closes his eyes, and you shake him.

“Jack? J-Jack? Jack wake up!! JACK!” you scream, your bottom lip quivering. He did not listen, and he didn’t move.

“Oh no, Jack!”

“Let go of him!” you father screams, grabbing your hand.

“NO! Stay away from me!” you look around and see Will coming your way, while Tom is struggling to get up. Elizabeth is heading towards her husband, and they know that they’d be in big trouble.

“You come with me! I am your father!”

“NO! You did this! You caused this! Making me get married Tom! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I’m ashamed to be your daughter! I’m not going anywhere with you! I... I hate you!” you say, and you start to sob again. Will rushes to your side, looking at Jack.

“He’s dead!” you say, tears cascading down your face.

“No, no... he’s not dead! Thank God! He’s unconscious... but he won’t be alive for long. We have to get him out of here.” you look at your father, and now you have to choose.

“I’m going with Jack,” you whisper. He doesn’t look at you.

“You are no longer my daughter.”

“So be it,” you hiss, helping Will pick up Jack.

“Quickly, the guards will be coming soon!” you glance at Tom, then back at Will.

“Take Jack. I’ll meet you at your house.”

“What? What are you doing?”

“Something I should have done a long time ago,” you whisper, picking up Jack’s sword.

“But-”

“GO!” you scream. Will doesn’t speak again, but takes Jack out of the chapel. You glance at Tom, and feel the urge to spit on him.

“What are you still doing here?” he mumbles, getting up.

“I’m here to kill you,” you spat, “and to watch you suffer the most painful death.”

He grins, taking out his sword that he always carried with him, which you found utterly retarded.

“Then this shall be an easy match.”

“For whom?”

“For me. You know nothing about swords, let alone how to fight with them!”

“You’d be surprised,” you say darkly, moving closer to him.

“Well then, shall we dance?”

Your swords clang together, and you have a hard time blocking his blows. He’s one of the best sword fighters in the Caribbean, and you now wonder if challenging him to a duel was a good idea.

You try to hit him, but he’s amazingly quick. He glares and hits you, his sword slashing you in the shoulder. You bite your lip in pain, not daring to scream. This was useless, you can not fight him. But no, you had to kill him, or this man would ruin you life even more.

“Come on! You said you wanted to fight me, so fight me!” you run to the next room with him following quickly behind. You glance around and see it’s a room for the guests with tables and food, and a large chandelier in the middle of the ceiling.

“Are you forfeiting?” you swing your sword to his face, narrowly missing him. He grins and blocks it, and once again you fight.

“I wonder if that man... Jack... is dead... I got him pretty good,” he sneers, “so much blood....” you scream and slice him across the chest, his eyes large.

“WENCH!” he shouts, now moving faster than he was before. You try to keep up, and he slashes you across the stomach. You gasp and fall to the ground, clutching the new wound.

“You’re such a horrible excuse for a woman. Going with a pirate, when you could have had me! Someone of great stature! And you’re throwing it all away!” he kicks you in the face, but you get back up, refusing to let him win. You couldn’t let him win. You fight again and slit him across the cheek.

“You’re not concentrating, Tom.... losing your touch?” He brings down his sword and it collides with yours, the sound ringing throughout the room. You cannot stand to fight him any longer, for you do not know much about sword fighting. Jack taught you some, yes, but you are no match against Tom. He kicks you in the stomach near your wound, and you groan painfully.

“We could have been something... a family! Oh well... you’ll join your bastard boyfriend in hell.” you look around shakily, feeling awfully cold. You look to your side, and then at Tom.

“The only one that’s going straight into Hell, Tom,” you whisper hoarsely, “is you.” you swing your sword with all the energy you can muster, slicing the rope next to you. The rope quickly disappears, and you put your hands over your face as the chandelier falls on Tom, his cries of pain echoing through your mind. You get up slowly, as if waiting for him to get up. You are scared to go near him, afraid that maybe he did survive. You make yourself walk over to him and kneel by him, grabbing his wrist to make sure he’s dead.

As you grab his wrist his hand jolts up and grabs yours, and you scream fearfully, his bloody face staring into yours. You can’t move and you can’t speak. His bloodied hand has such a tight hold on you, and he takes his last breath, his arm going limp. You shake horribly, and make your way out of the chapel.

* * * *

You make your way to Will’s house, but find a note near the door.

We’re on Jack’s ship, meet us there.

-Will

You take the note and rush to Jack’s ship, hoping that he’s still alive.

* * * *

As you arrive near the port, Will sees you and helps you onto the boat.

“My God! What happened?”

“I took care of Tom,” you whisper. Elizabeth tries to help clean your wounds, but you shoo them away, running into Jack’s room. You feel tears sting your eyes as you sit next to him, glancing at his bandaged shoulder.

“He’s got a horrible wound...” says Elizabeth softly.

“Did you get a doctor?”

“He’ll be here soon. He’s a friend of Will’s.”

“Good,” you say, grabbing Jack’s hand and kissing it softly.

* * * *

It was now about an hour later and you watch the doctor make a hasty retreat.

“Doc says that it’s a fifty-fifty chance,” Will says, his voice full of pain and regret.

“Then we shall wait....” you take a seat by his bed, just watching him. You can’t take your eyes off of him, and you know you will never fall in love with anyone else if he dies.

“Don’t leave me.... please.... don’t leave me....”

* * * *

It’s now three days later, and hope is beginning to wear thin. Jack hasn’t waken up yet, and you are getting more worried by the minute. Your eyes are closed, and you’re trying to sleep. You hardly slept at all after these few days, and you wish this was a dream. Your eyes open as you hear a noise, and you look to your right.

It was Jack, trying to grab your hand.

“JACK!” you shout, quickly going to his side.

“’Ello, Luv....”

“Jack, oh my...” you start to cry hysterically, and he shakily tries to wipe your tears away.

“Don’t cry....”

“I thought you were going to die!”

“I’d never leave ye. Even if I did.... I’d come and kill Tom in me afterlife.” you laugh and stroke his cheek.

“Don’t scare me like that again Jack Sparrow!”

“Captain, Captain Jack Sparrow.” he massages your hand affectionately and speaks to you again.

“Can ye grab me coat?” you nod and grab his coat, giving it to him. You watch as he goes through his pockets with his good hand, and you try to help him.

“No, no!” he swats away your palm and you smirk. You quirk an eyebrow as you see him pull out a small box, and you know somewhat what it is.

But it couldn’t be! He’s Jack Sparrow! Marriage is the last thing on his mind! In fact, it’s not even in his vocabulary!

“What happened to Tom?” he whispers.

“I killed him...” his eyes widen and he slowly pulls back your sleeve, revealing a bruise.

“Is this from him?” the bruise he was looking at was not from the fight, but from Tom a few days ago before the wedding. You nod and sniff as the memories come back to the surface, and Jack kisses the bruise softly. Then he glances at the new cuts you had received from the fight, his eyes wide.

“You got that from Tom on tha weddin’?”

“Yes...”

“I’m so sorry-”

“Jack, it’s not your fault!”

“I should’ve killed em...”

“Jack-”

“No... I never want ye to be in any situation like that again...”

“Jack-”

“Lemme finish. Tom was an evil man ye were gettin’ married to... and he hurt ye...” he glares at the bruises on your arm, “and I never want ye to be hurt like that again...”

“Jack, what are you trying to say?” he shifts uncomfortably in his seat, and you wonder what he’s thinking. He tries to sit up and ignore your scolding, and he caresses your face softly. He looks at your lips and you blush, but he doesn’t notice it. And then he says two words... two words that will change your life forever.

“Marry me.”

* * * * *

CHAPTER 14

“Marry me.” You gasp, watching as he places the ring on your finger.

“Yes...” you whisper, kissing him with as much passion as you can. He smiles through the kiss, his thumb rubbing against your cheek softly. You giggle with excitement, giving him a big hug, carefully avoiding his wound.

“I love you,” you say.

“I love you too... more than anythin’... I was thinkin’ o’ what to say.... was gonna say somethin’ nice... but I’m not too good with those kinda things...”

“It’s all right, Jack. I’ve learned to deal with your unusual mental state.” you grin as he rolls his eyes, his hand ushering you to get closer to him. You lie next to him on the bed, while you both talk of wedding plans.

“So it can’t be a big wedding, cause you know, they’ll kill you.”

“Oh yeah, can’t forget that... don’t worry, Luv, I’ve got somethin’ in mind.”

* * * *

About a month later...

“W-We have gathered h-here today-”

“Could ya pace it up a bit, Mate? We’re kinda in a hurry.” Jack’s dark eyes bore into the Priest, and he nodded shakily.

“S-Sure... um... d-d-do you-”

“Yes yes!” you say, looking in the distance as you see some naval officers coming from afar.

“And do you-”

“Aye!!”

“You may kiss the bride!” rushed the Priest. Jack passionately kisses you and takes your hand, rushing you towards the Black Pearl.

“Come on, Luv! We haven’t got much time!” you nod and watch as the Priest motions where you are, and you both smile and wave at the officers.

“They won’t catch up, right?” you ask worriedly.

“Course not, Luv.”

“We’re finally married!” you exclaim, kissing him on the lips. He smiles, wrapping his arm around you.

“That we are.”

“I’ve dreamed about this, Jack... being here, with you...” he grins, wiggling his eyebrows.

“Aye, Luv, ye work fast. Let’s get ye outta this dress!” he moves his hands to the back of your wedding dress but you smack his hands away.

“Must you ruin every romantic moment?”

“I do not! I thought that was romantic!”

“It’s smutty!”

“What’s wrong with bein’ smutty?”

“Jack, Jack... you have so much to learn...”

“Teach me,” he growls, moving to the back of your dress again.

“Okay, that’s it. Can’t we just wait until we get a little further into sea?”

“Aye... fine.” he reluctantly moves away, and you grin.

“Patience is a virtue.”

“Whoever said that is a bloody idiot.” you snicker and lean onto his broad shoulder.

“My father will hate me when he finds out what I did...”

“Luv, ye have to run yer own life, not yer father, no one else... you don’t regret marryin’ me, do ya?”

“Of course not Jack!” you say, kissing him on the cheek, “not for a second.”

“Good.”

“...Can we have sex now?”

“No! Jack, the Priest and the officers can still see us!”

“Dammit.”

“Must you always think about sex?” you giggle.

“Well, no. I think about rum...”

“Jack, if you don’t mind me saying, you’re one in a million, you know that?”

“O’ course I am! I’m Captain Jack Sparrow!”

* * * *

It’s now late at night, and you’re sitting on the deck with Jack, laying in each other’s arms.

“I still can’t believe it.”

“Me neither, Luv. But we’re here...”

“Yes we are... who would’ve thought? Me and a pirate? Everyone hated us being together.”

“Well, what can I say...” he whispers, running his hands through your hair and kissing you softly, “our love...”

He looks into your eyes, running his calloused fingers across your lips, and then your cheek.
